Are You Heading for Diabetes? A Simple Test to Find Out
Ronald Grisanti D.C.,D.A.B.C.O.,M.S.

A study of 27,270 men, 884 of whom had been diagnoses with type II diabetes, concluded that waist size is a more reliable indicator of a personal risk than body mass index (BMI).

Researchers from John Hopkins University found a doubled risk of diabetes when waists measured 35 inches compared to the 29-34 inch group.

At 40 inches, the risk of developing diabetes increased 12-fold.

So go ahead, get a tape measure and check your waist measurement.
