New Study Reveals a 93% Increased Risk of Developing High Blood Pressure When Taking 500 mgs. of Acetaminophen a day
Ronald Grisanti D.C., D.A.B.C.O., M.S.
Printer-Friendly Format

The study found that women between the ages of 51 to 77 who took more than 500 mg of acetaminophen per day had a 93% increased risk for hypertension.

The study also revealed that women between the ages 34 to 53, whose daily acetaminophen intake exceeded 500 mg, had double the hypertension risk compared with non-users.

According to John P. Forman, M.D., a clinical fellow at Brigham and Women's Hospital, he commented that these results confirm that the frequency of acetaminophen and NSAID use increases the risk for hypertension in women.

Of Special Interest

The study found that acetaminophen and other similiar pain medications deplete the amino acid glutathione which may eventually lead to blood vessel damage.

Dr. Grisanti's Comments:

The amino acid gluthionine is a powerful antioxidant and protects the body again free radical damage.

I would strongly encourage you to consider purchasing Oxygenic B. This is one of the best multi-vitamin/mineral supplements.

Not only do I and my family take this product but it has been the only multi-supplement I have prescribed for my patients for over 10 years.

In fact, Oxygenic B provides the amino acid gluthionine.
