Revolutionary New Way To Lose Fat
Most people begin an exercise program with no game plan, no direction or a clue to what is effective. Because of this lack of information, the exercises performed rarely meet the criteria for intensity for any given set, meaning most folks get nothing out of it.
Without a sufficient stimulus, there is no adaptation response by the body to become a little better than it was before the exercise.
Because this group is not seeing any results with this low intensity approach,
they try to make up for it in volume of exercise, sometimes training six days a week for hours at a time. This leads to a fatigued over trained body.
Still not seeing any results, this group usually becomes very discouraged
ending up on a treadmill doing more unproductive work and are bored to death.
At the other end of the extremes are those that make the classic mistake of combining too much volume of exercise with high intensity and end up overtraining.
This leads to being very sore and uncomfortable for days. This of course gives them a reason not to exercise breaking the all important habitual cycle from the get go.
To make matters worse, these highly motivational yet uninformed folks think they can work through this discomfort and continue to train day after day digging a deep hole for themselves metabolically that they cannot recover from.
The end result is a body that never gets a chance to completely recover, stimulating it to hold onto its fat, sometimes breaking down muscle for energy which is the exact opposite of why your are exercising.
This group ends up quitting very soon as they are not enjoying the exercise experience at all.
There are many other reasons for not getting results out of your exercise program.
However for the time being, we want to be so bold as to say that most everything people know or think they know about exercise is wrong.
